Treten Sie ein in das Haus des Selbst – ein Raum aus Spiegeln, Schatten und multiplen Identitäten. Dies ist kein Theaterstück zum bloßen Zuschauen. Es ist eine Welt, die man betritt. Eine Choreografie des Selbst, oder besser gesagt, des Ichs: instabil, vielschichtig, ständig beobachtend und beobachtet.

In diesem dritten Kapitel nach La mia amica Ombra setzt der Choreograf Francesco Vecchione seine poetische Untersuchung der Identität, des Unterbewusstseins und des sich ständig verändernden Wesens des Seins fort. Das Werk verwandelt die Bühne in ein lebendiges philosophisches und psychologisches Labor. Es ist ein Schwellenraum, in dem Identität nicht entdeckt, sondern inszeniert, hinterfragt und geteilt wird.

The Silent Waltz of Shadows lässt die Grenzen zwischen Performance und Partizipation verschwimmen und lädt das Publikum ein, Teil eines sich entwickelnden kreativen Prozesses zu werden.

Durch Workshops, offene Proben und Momente der Interaktion während der Aufführung lösen sich die Grenzen zwischen Performer und Betrachter auf. Jede Geschichte, jedes Zögern, jedes gemeinsame Lachen wird Teil der Choreografie. Es ist die leise Bestätigung dafür, dass das Leben selbst relational, instabil und improvisatorisch ist.

Was hier als intimes, persönliches Material beginnt, entfaltet sich zu einem kollektiven Ritual. Schatten, die uns einzuschränken scheinen, werden stattdessen zu Begleitern, die uns durch die Korridore des Selbst führen. Die Musik fungiert als philosophischer Gesprächspartner. Sie webt ein Netz aus Widersprüchen: das Erhabene und das Groteske, das Melancholische und das Spielerische, das Einsame und das Gemeinschaftliche.

In diesem Raum des Nebeneinanders spiegeln Spiegel nicht nur wider, sie sprechen miteinander.

Das Selbst ist niemals einsam. Und das Publikum wird selbst zu einem Schatten, zu einer tanzenden Präsenz in einem gemeinsamen existenziellen Experiment.

Step into the house of the self, a space of mirrors, shadows, and multiple identities. This is not a theatre piece to be watched, but a world to be entered, a choreography of the self, or rather, of the selves: unstable, layered, constantly observing and observed.

In this third chapter following La mia amica Ombra, choreographer Francesco Vecchione continues his poetic inquiry into identity, the subconscious, and the ever-shifting nature of being. The work transforms the stage into a living philosophical and psychological laboratory, a threshold space where identity is not discovered but staged, interrogated, and shared.

Through workshops, open rehearsals, and moments of interaction during the performance, the borders between performer and observer dissolve. Each story, each hesitation, each shared laugh becomes part of the choreography... a quiet affirmation that life itself is relational, unstable, improvisatory.

Here, what begins as intimate, personal material unfolds into a collective ritual. Shadows that might seem to bind instead become companions, leading us through the corridors of selfhood. Music acts as a philosophical interlocutor, weaving a web of contradictions: the sublime and the grotesque, the melancholic and the playful, the solitary and the communal.

In this space of coexistence, mirrors do not simply reflect, they converse.

The self is never solitary. And the audience itself becomes a shadow, a dancing presence within a shared existential experiment.
