After the amazing restart, we do it again! We fill the INSEL, place of art, culture, dance theatre and Tango Argentino! The Festival focusses to support on a vivid exchange about Contact Improvisation, Tango und ContacTango.

Nach dem großartigen Neustart machen wir es noch einmal! Wir füllen die INSEL – ein Ort für Kunst, Kultur, Tanztheater und Tango Argentino! Das Festival legt den Fokus auf einen lebendigen Austausch über Contact Improvisation, Tango und ContacTango.

Internationales Festival für Contact Improvisation Tango Wuppertal - 1. ContacTango Festival zurück in der Stadt des Tanzes! Ihr wollt einen leichten Zugang zum Tango Argentino haben? Du liebst es zu tanzen, zu improvisieren und herumzuspielen? Ihr wollt Eure tänzerischen Fähigkeiten vertiefen, Euren Tanz verfeinern und verbessern, egal ob Tango oder Contact? DANN IST DIES DEINE VERANSTALTUNG!!!

Beside yearly changing international teachers, who share there multiple influences, former teachers are invited to support the festival. We have a lot of space to exchange intensiv within a group of wonderful people, built connection, experiment, cuddle, play, dive deep into embodiment and float together. The festival offers capacity for dancers of any level to experience the fusion of Tango Argentino und Contact Improvisation and catch playfulness, intensity and freedom in this symbiosis.

Neben jährlich wechselnden internationalen Lehrern, die ihre vielfältigen Einflüsse teilen, sind auch ehemalige Lehrer eingeladen, das Festival zu unterstützen. Wir haben viel Raum, um uns in einer Gruppe von wunderbaren Menschen intensiv auszutauschen, Verbindung aufzubauen, zu experimentieren, zu kuscheln, zu spielen, tief in die Verkörperung einzutauchen und gemeinsam zu schweben. Das Festival bietet Tänzern jeden Niveaus die Möglichkeit, die Verschmelzung von Tango Argentino und Contact Improvisation zu erleben und in dieser Symbiose Spielfreude, Intensität und Freiheit zu erfahren.
